How do I turn automatic video calls on/off on my calendar?

When you add a video call to an event, your invitees can join a Google Hangout video call. Each video call that's created has a unique URL that's specific to that event.  

Turn automatic video calls on or off

If you got your Google Account through your work, school, or group, you may not see the "Automatically add video calls to events I create" setting. Your domain admin can turn this setting on or off.

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. In the top right corner, click Settings Settings Settings
  3. Next to "Automatically add video calls to events I create," select Yes or No
  4. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

Add or remove a video call from one event 

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. In the top left corner, click Create.
  3. In the "Video call" section, click Add video call or Remove.
  4. Click Save.
