How do I share my Powerpoint in Presenter Mode in Zoom?

To share your Powerpoint in Presenter Mode, where you as the instructor see your notes and upcoming slides, but your students only see your current slide, please follow these steps:

1. Start your Zoom session
2. In your Powerpoint Presentation, Start Slideshow
3. Right-click (Mac: Control-click) on the presentation and select Show Presenter View.
4. Next, toggle back to your Zoom session.
   1. On a PC, Alt + Tab and choose Zoom.
   2. On a Mac, Command + Tab and choose Zoom
5. In Zoom, click on the Share Screen button. At the top of the window switch from Basic to Advanced. Select Portion of Screen and click Share.
6. Zoom will then create a green rectangle around the portion of the screen that you are sharing. Adjust the green rectangle so that just the portion of the screen that you would like to share is visible within the green portion. The audience will not be able to see anything else on the screen.
