Overview
As of March 2026, Workday has released a new Managers Hub (also called the "Manager Insights Hub"). This hub is your central resource for all team management activities, offering easy access to the most frequently used reports, dashboards, and information. It's designed to empower you to support your team effectively by enabling you to view, review, and take action across various functions, from hiring and time/absence tracking to initiating job and compensation changes for your workers.
There is no new functionality inside this hub, it merely creates a one-stop shop for many different tasks and information.
In this hub, you can:
- View information about your team, such as:
- Birthdays & work anniversaries
- Org charts
- The Team Performance dashboard
- Access and manage absences:
- Requesting an absence for you or a team member
- Review your team absence calendar
- Easily view upcoming absences and workers on leave
- Review, enter, and approve time for hourly workers:
- Entering time for workers
- See a snapshot of how many time entries you have to review/approve (both how many are submitted and how many have not been submitted yet!)
- Review your team's schedule
- Complete hiring and staffing actions, like:
- Creating a job requisition
- Quickly see any processes that are in progress, such as job requisitions that haven't been posted yet, in-progress job changes, or hires (after a candidate has accepted an offer)
- Submit a "Change Job" request for someone on your team (internal, non-competitive promotions only)
- Request a compensation change or one-time payment for someone on your team (See "Related Articles")
