Reporting Spam Calls and Blocking Numbers as a Zoom Phone User

If you have received repeated spam calls from the same number, you can report this to Zoom and block the number. The university is doing its best to limit spam from reaching users.

The process for blocking a number and reporting it for spam is as follows: 

1. Open the phone tab within the Zoom Workplace app. 

2. Find the call that you want to identify as spam, and hover over it with your cursor. 3 Dots will appear on the right hand side of the entry (shown in the screenshot below). Click on the three dots. 

3. In the menu that appears when you click the three dots, you will see "Block number." Hover over that option, and then you can choose to report spam or block that number. Both options block the number from calling you in the future, but reporting as spam will notify SJU's Zoom phone administrators of spam activity.
