I am getting an error that reads, Sorry... Not meeting host. (3,003), what does this mean?

As a student, if you are unable to join the Zoom meeting from your course in Blackboard and are getting this error message:

Sorry...
Not meeting host. (3,003)

This means that only the Instructor (or Host) can access the Meeting at this time. The Join URL that was added to the course menu is the Host Join URL and NOT the participant URL.

The instructor will need to:

Edit the Zoom Meeting Web Link in your course menu and add the Participant URL instead.

To do this:

To get this Participant URL, you will need lo login to sju.zoom.us with your Zoom credentials.

Once logged in, go to My meetings in the menu on the left hand side.

Locate your course meeting you created and click on the title.

Next to Invite Attendees is the Participant Join URL. Copy that URL (select the URL, hit Ctrl + C)

Go to Blackboard, go to your course

Click the drop down next to your Zoom Meeting link and click Web Link. Paste in the new URL.
