How to Launch Creative Cloud Apps on lab and classroom computers (SDL)

How to Launch Adobe Creative Cloud Apps in labs, classrooms and other shared computers:

Labs, classrooms, and other shared computers around campus will optionally acquire the very latest Adobe Creative Cloud applications deployed by OIT.  Only certain computer labs and general use computers will have specific Adobe apps, so if there is a need for additional apps that may not be currently installed, a service request will need to be submitted with OIT here.

Adobe Creative Cloud applications require that you first authenticate with Adobe using your SJU credentials before you can successfully launch the application.  Here are the steps that Adobe now requires:

  1. Log in to the SJU computer as you would normally.
  2. Select the Adobe Application that you intend to use.  (Examples shown below)
  3. When prompted, sign in to Adobe using your full SJU email address.  Depending what you are accessing, you will be presented with one of the two log in screens:
  4. If prompted, select "Company or School Account"
  5. You will be redirected to our Saint Joseph's University login page.  Please enter your SJU password, and click Sign In.
  6. You'll also be prompted if you'd like to stay signed in. If this is a public or lab machine, it's recommend that you click No.
  7. This then will launch your application.  Note: In this example, we happen to have chosen Adobe Illustrator:

You may now begin your work.  You will remain logged into the Adobe Creative Cloud until you log out of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application as well as the computer.  When you log back into the same computer, or any other lab/classroom computer, you will be required to sign in again before using the Adobe apps.

*NOTE* - It is important to log out of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application before you log out of the computer.
