How to Log Into Coursera Using Saint Joseph’s University SSO

Audience

Saint Joseph’s University faculty and staff who have been granted access to Coursera for the AI Skills Pilot.

Before You Begin

You will need your Saint Joseph’s University username and password. You may also be prompted to complete multi-factor authentication.

For SJU-sponsored access, use the organization/SSO login option rather than creating or using a personal Coursera account. Coursera supports logging in through an organization by using either an invitation link from the organization or the Log in with your organization option on Coursera. 

Option 1: Use the SJU Coursera Access Link

  1. Open the Coursera access link provided by Saint Joseph’s University.
    SJU Coursera link: https://coursera.org/programs/saint-josephs-univer-google-learning-program-om13c

  2. Select Log in with your organization or continue through the Saint Joseph’s University sign-in option.

  1. Enter your SJU username and password.

  2. Complete multi-factor authentication.

  3. After signing in, you will be redirected back to Coursera.

  4. Once inside Coursera, browse the available AI Skills Pilot courses assigned to Saint Joseph’s University users.

Option 2: Log In Directly From Coursera

  1. Go to Coursera.org.

  2. Click Log In in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Log in with your organization.

  4. Enter the Saint Joseph’s University organization URL when prompted:
    Organization URL: sju.edu

  1. Sign in using your SJU username and password.

  2. Complete multi-factor authentication.

  3. You should be redirected to your Saint Joseph’s University Coursera learning page. 

First-Time Users

The first time you log in through SJU SSO, Coursera may create or connect your Coursera learner profile to Saint Joseph’s University’s Coursera program. Use your SJU credentials so your access is connected to the University’s learning program. 

Troubleshooting

  • I do not see Saint Joseph’s University as an option

    • Use the SJU-provided Coursera access link or confirm that you entered the correct organization URL.

  • I signed in with a personal Coursera account by mistake

    • Log out of Coursera, then sign back in using Log in with your organization and your SJU credentials.

  • My SJU username or password is not working

    • Confirm that your SJU credentials are active and that you can log in to other SJU systems.

  • I completed SSO but do not see the correct courses

    • Your Coursera access may not yet be assigned, or you may be logged into a personal Coursera account instead of the SJU-connected account.

  • I am still unable to log in

    • Contact the Saint Joseph’s University Technology Service Center for assistance. Include a screenshot of the error message, the browser you are using, and whether you accessed Coursera through the SJU link or directly through Coursera.org.
