What features are included in Google Gemini?

Will my data be kept secure and private?

Yes, any usage of these new features remains fully protected and secured within our Google Workspace environment. No usage will be used to train AI models or will be shared outside of our organization.

In addition, any information you share with Gemini is "locked down" to you and only you. Anything you enter cannot be queried by other users. Gemini is limited to only the information that you have access to and nothing more. Google's Privacy and Security website describes how this works:

"The strict data access control model for Gemini does not allow for inputs or session content to leak across user boundaries. The model is structured to only present data from a session to that individual user. Thus, information is not only kept private within an organization, it is also kept private between users within an organization subject to the built-in Workspace access control for shared files."

Does the University have any guidelines for usage of AI features?
