Benefits of Zoom One
Starting in late January of 2024, SJU upgraded to Zoom One. Zoom One creates an all-in-one user experience. Users can easily switch between chat, meetings, whiteboards, and more from a single app.
New Tools Available
With the upgrade to Zoom One, users now have the following tools available to them:
- Zoom Scheduler - allows users to generate slots of scheduled availability for attendees to then select a preferred time on both parties’ calendars. Scheduler integrates with your Google calendar.
- Zoom Whiteboard - is a visual collaboration tool that allows users to work together before, during, and after Zoom meetings.
- Zoom Team Chat - allows users to send text, audio, and video messages, as well as share files, emojis, screenshots, and more to individual contacts, groups, or entire channels.
- Zoom Polls - allow the host to launch the poll during a meeting, gather responses from participants, and download a report of polling after the meeting.
- Zoom Surveys - allows users a way to create, edit, and share surveys and polls outside of meetings, via a link.
- Zoom Webinars - now users can schedule and host their own webinars with up to 500 participants.
- Zoom Apps
- Music - allows users to easily add music to your meeting for just yourself or everyone to hear.
- Virtual backgrounds - allows users to select their favorite virtual background from over 2 million high-resolution images. The SJU community can still use SJU-branded virtual backgrounds as well.
- Group photo - allows users to take instant, high-quality group photos with your meeting attendees.
Accessing Zoom
To access Zoom, visit Sju.zoom.us, click Sign In, and enter your SJU credentials.
