Overview
In March 2024, Workday is releasing a new "Benefits & Pay Hub" to all customers. This new page allows employees to quickly and easily view their most recent pay, deductions, benefits costs, and total compensation with links to review any of these items in more detail. There will no longer be a standalone "Benefits" app, and all benefits information and transactions must be completed in this new hub. The Pay app is still available to use at this time.
Because of this new, user-friendly hub, employees can do the following with one click:
- View/change their payment elections (direct deposit)
- Change benefits for a life event
- View/print their tax documents
You will be able to access this new hub directly in your app menu on March 11, 2024:
Understanding the New Hub
Full hub view
In the main hub page, you can access the most frequently-needed tasks at the top in the "Tasks and Reports" list. In the general Overview pane, you'll see your most recent pay (including the date of the pay), full deductions cost, and your current benefits cost. Each of these boxes allows you to click for more information - whether that's to review your full paystub, benefits elections, or anything else. At the bottom of the page, you'll also see your "Annual Total Rewards Package", which currently reflects your total base pay.
Hub menu & options:
In the Benefits & Pay Hub menu on the left side, you can click through to any other benefits, pay, or compensation information that was previously housed in the Benefits or Pay apps separately. This includes reviewing or changing your benefits, dependents, beneficiaries, or even reviewing your full pay & deductions history in the "Payments" page, where you can access both a consolidated history as well as all of your SJU pay slips (issued through Workday after June 2022).
