Applying to Open Position as a Current SJU Employee

Overview

Interested in looking at an open position within the University? Log into Workday via the Nest. On the top left hand side, click “Menu” then “Jobs Hub”:

Steps

  1. Once you're in the Jobs Hub, click "Browse Jobs"
  2. You can search by a variety of filters on the left hand side, or you can just scroll through all postings. 
  3. Click "View Job" to read more about the position.

  4. From this screen, you can apply to a job, refer someone to a job, or create job alerts.
  5. To apply to a position, click on the job to view the full job details and click on "Apply"
  6. Fill in all application fields including: experience, education, certifications etc. Please note, you will have the option to use this information to save and update your profile in Workday. To do this, simply click the check box below each section. 
  7. Be sure to upload your resume and cover letter, as well as any other required documents. 
  8. Click "Submit" when you are complete
  9. Once you have submitted, you can view your submitted application by navigating back to the menu in the top let corner and clicking the “Jobs Hub” 
  10. Then click “My applications” and you will be able to see any active applications. (To view older inactive applications, click “inactive” )
  11. If you scroll to the right, you can view your application to withdraw it.

 

Please note: Your current manager will not be able to see that you have applied for another position at Saint Joseph’s University. This information will only be available to human resources and the manager of the new position you are applying to. Please reach out with any questions!
