Overview
Make the switch! Eduroam has replaced the "PACollege-Wireless" network.
Eduroam is a Wi-Fi network for the education and research community. It allows students, faculty and staff from participating institutions to seamlessly connect to the Internet on campus or when visiting other institutions.
** If the below instructions do not allow you to connect your device to the wireless network, please let schedule an appointment with SJU support at the Lancaster Location by submitting a ticket (CLICK HERE).**

Windows
- Select eduroam and enter your full SJU username with @sju.edu at the end of it and password.
- Click Connect.

Chromebook
1. At the bottom right, select the time.
2. Select No network.
Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
3. Turn on Wi-Fi.
4. Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.
5. Select Eduroam and enter your full SJU username with @sju.edu at the end of it and password.
6. Click Connect.

Mac - manual configuration instructions
1. Turn AirPort ON (if not on already).
2. Click the AirPort icon and click on “eduroam."
3. You will be prompted for your full SJU username with @sju.edu at the end of it and password.
4. After a few moments, you should be connected to eduroam.
If you are still unable to connect, try clearing your keychain passwords.
- Open Utilities. You can open Utilities by selecting "Go" from the desktop.
- In Utilities, click on Keychain Access. If not already selected, please select login from the right of the window.
- Click on one of the saved password, at the top choose edit and then select all. Press delete.
After clearing this list, try to connect to eduroam again.

iPhone or iPad
To add the eduroam network to your iPhone for the first time:
- Click on the "Settings" icon on your home screen
- Click on Wi-Fi
- Choose eduroam from the network list
- Enter your SJU username and password. Your username should have the full @sju.edu at the end of it.
- Click Trust to accept the eduroam certificate
- You will now be joined to the eduroam network
If you have reset your SJU password or you are no longer able to connect ot the network for any reason, please follow the directions below:
- Click on the “Settings” icon on your home screen
- Click on Wi-Fi
- Look for eduroam in the network list (it should have a blue check mark beside it)
- Please look to the right of eduroam and click on the icon “i:” with a circle around it
- Click on forget this network (you will then be taken back to the network list)
- Click on eduroam
- Enter your SJU username and password. Your username should have the full @sju.edu at the end of it.
- Accept the eduroam certificate
- You will now be joined to the eduroam network

Android
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Connections.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap the eduroam and select Advanced Settings.
- Enter the settings from the example below.

Pixel Phone
Pixel phones have a security update which intentionally removes the "Do Not Validate" under the "CA certificate" drop down. This option previously appeared when adding a new WiFi network with WPA2-Enterprise security.

Connect to the Eduroam wireless network. A connection settings window will pop up.

Set the EAP method to PEAP

Set the Phase 2 authentication to MSCHAPV2

On the CA Certificate Drop Down, User System Certificates

For Online Certificate Status: Do not verify

For Domain, type: sju.edu

Identity is your sju issued domain login username

Anonymous identity must be blank.

Password is your SJU domain login password.

Advanced settings can all be left default.

Privacy: User randomized MAC

Kindle
- From the home screen, swipe down to open the Quick Actions or select the Menu icon.
- Select All Settings or Settings, then Wi-Fi & Bluetooth or Wireless.
- Select Wi-Fi Networks and detected Wi-Fi networks appear. (If your Wi-Fi network is configured to be hidden or broadcast is disabled, it will not be displayed in the list.)
- Tap on eduroam and enter the settings from the example below.
- Select Connect.

Android phones (higher than 5.1) require you to select a "CA Certificate". You can select "Do not validate".
