Workday task to Complete Manager Evaluation, with a due date of March 15, is generated to the department chair once the faculty member submits their report (chair self-evaluations to be completed by the appropriate dean).
Between February 15 and March 15
Department chair to determine if any faculty member is not compliant completing the annual report and follow up with them to ensure completion.
Department chair reviews the faculty member's report, enters their comments, and submits within Workday. The system will then generate a task for the faculty member to acknowledge having seen the Manager Evaluation within Workday.
On or About March 15
The department chair meets with the appropriate dean to discuss the evaluations of the department members with the dean.
Notes
- In the case of a probationary faculty member, the chair will also indicate any areas that may be cause for concern in terms of the pre-tenure and tenure review.
- In all cases, the department chair must review each report with the faculty member who wrote it.
- Each department chair will submit their own annual evaluation, using the same standards as other department members, to the appropriate dean who will review it. The dean must share the evaluation with the chair who must then acknowledge having seen the report in Workday.
