Install the Pharos Print App

 

How to use Mobileprint on Android

To print to mobileprint from your Android, first install the Pharos Print App onto your device.

  • NOTE: Before you begin, you will need to be on the SJU campus and successfully connected to SJU's wifi (eduroam) in order to print.
     
  • When you open the app the first time, you will be prompted to enter information for the server address and port number.

 

  • For the Server Address, enter:
    • mobileprint.sju.edu
  • For the Server Port, enter:
    • 443

For example:

  • Press "Connect".
     
  • At the Log On screen, enter your SJU Username and Password (do not enter your entire email address):

  • Press "Log On"
     

Printing a document from your phone

  • Now that you are logged in, choose "upload" to select a file for printing:

  • On the Choose A File to Upload screen select Documents to select a file (or select Camera to take a photo):

  • Select the menu icon (displayed as ☰) to see all your file locations.  For example, select your Google "Drive" option:

  • Once you've selected your file, it will be shown in your Job List:

  • For additional options, such as printing multiple copies, you can select "Print Options":

  • Now you may print/release your pending job(s) to any of the listed Mobileprint printers.
