Heating / Cooling Schedule

General Information

The three HVAC “modes” include: Heating Mode (Oct-April), Cooling Mode (April-Oct) and *Swing Mode (Oct-Nov, April-May).

*What does Swing Mode mean?
Swing Mode is for those in-between weeks when the heat/air conditioning to the building is turned off but do not switched over to heating/air conditioning for the next season. This is done in the event of a hot/cold spell and need to turn the heat or air conditioning back on. Swing Mode is typically 1-2 weeks, depending on the forecast. Additionally, it takes approximately 2 weeks to transition all buildings between heating/air conditioning. During this time, it is best to keep your thermostat in the off position.

Full details around the heating / cooling temperatures can be found in our Service Level Agreement.
