Saint Joseph’s University is committed to providing information and resources to help adult and part-time students meet the costs of a University education so that they can continue their studies and ultimately earn their degree.

The options listed here include grants and scholarships, need- and non-need-based loans, and other tuition financing options. Students are encouraged to review the options below to determine which are best suited for their specific needs.

Students in SJU’s Haub Degree Completion program requiring financial aid must apply for financial aid each year.

Annual Haub Degree Completion Students Financial Aid Requirements

  • Each year, students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov by July 1 (if starting in the fall) or November 15 (if starting in the spring).
  • Each student must accept desired aid online via their Nest account.
  • If selected for verification, please submit all required documents to Financial Aid within 45 business days. Verification is a process required by the federal government to verify the data submitted on the FAFSA for a percentage of financial aid applicants. Financial aid will not be processed until the verification process is complete. For more information, please click here
  • First-time borrowers must complete an entrance counseling and a master promissory note at studentaid.gov prior to receiving financial aid.
