Students receiving degrees in August or January are invited to participate formally in the commencement ceremony of the following May.
Students with no more than eight credits/two courses remaining at the end of the spring semester and who will finish the remaining courses in the summer, and who are in good academic standing, are eligible to walk in the commencement ceremony.
- Good academic standing for undergraduate students is a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0
- Good academic standing for graduate students and doctoral students (in a PhD or EdD) students is a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0
Special approval is required from the appropriate college Dean for students needing more than two courses and/or not in good academic standing.
