The Federal Pell Grant Program is the largest federal need-based student aid program providing grant assistance ranging from $692 to $6,895 for the 2022-2023 academic year to undergraduate students who are enrolled in a degree or certificate program and have not received their first bachelor´s degree. Eligibility is based on demonstrated financial need, cost of education, and enrollment status. The amount of the student´s award is determined using the Federal Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR), Expected Family Contribution (EFC), and the Payment Schedule provided by the U.S. Department of Education. For the 2022-2023 academic year, full-time students with an EFC of $6206 or less would qualify (EFC cut-off varies for part-time students depending upon credit load).
Student Awards are determined by Cost of Attendance and Enrollment status. Note that Pell Grants can adjust if you adjust your credit load prior to the end of the fifth week of classes.
