Connecting a Pixel phone to Eduroam

Overview

Pixel phones have a security update which intentionally removes the "Do Not Validate" under the "CA certificate" drop down. This option previously appeared when adding a new WiFi network with WPA2-Enterprise security.

How to Connect with a Pixel Phone

1. Connect to the eduroam wireless networks. A connection settings window will pop up.

2. Set the EAP method to PEAP

3. Set the Phase 2 authentication to MSCHAPV2

4. On the CA Certificate Drop Down, User System Certificates

5. For Online Certificate Status: Do not verify

6. For Domain, type: sju.edu

7. Identity is your sju issued email address

   1. Anonymous Identity must be blank

8. Anonymous identity must be blank.

9. Password is your SJU domain login password.

10. Advanced settings can all be left default.

    1. Metered: Detect Automatically

    2. Proxy: None

    3. IP Settings: DHCP

    4. Privacy: User randomized MAC
