Staff Performance Evaluations in Workday

Overview

Each year when the performance process begins, a self evaluation will be launched on your behalf and will be waiting in your Workday inbox. You must complete your self-evaluation in its entirety before your manager will be able to start their evaluation, so please make sure to do this in a timely manner.

Managers, please see "Related Articles" on the right for a similar overview and guidelines for the manager evaluation.

2024 timeline:

  • May 6 - Self-evaluations are available in Workday
  • June 14 - All performance conversations should be complete

Employee Review Comments & Acknowledgement

After your supervisor has completed their evaluation and you have discussed the full performance evaluation, you will receive a final inbox item called "Provide Employee Review Comments" which includes an acknowledgement. This is the final step in the performance review process and it must be completed in order to finalize your performance evaluation.

Click on the "Status" bar and select the acknowledgement. You can provide any final comments on your review based on your conversation if desired, but this is not required.

When finished, click "Submit" to finalize your evaluation.
