The Panopto Zoom integration allows instructors to set up their course Zoom recordings to move automatically to their course folder in Panopto. This setting applies to the course level and must be turned on for each individual Canvas course.
To opt in to the integration:

In the Canvas course, click Panopto Video in the left-hand course menu.

Click the "Open in Panopto" icon (a square with an arrow pointing towards the top-right).

In the Panopto window, click the circular profile icon on the top right-hand corner. In the pop up menu, click User Settings.

From the User Settings, under the Meeting Import Settings, click the checkbox next to “SJU Zoom Pro LTI integration (Zoom),” then click Update. You can now close the User Settings and return to Canvas.

Once opted in, any new Zoom meetings scheduled in the Canvas course will automatically have their recordings uploaded to the instructor's Panopto folder. Instructors can also map specific recurring Zoom meetings to a designated Panopto folder.
The integration only works for new Zoom recordings - previously created Zoom cloud recordings will not be moved to Panopto automatically. Instructors should also avoid using their personal Zoom meeting IDs to prevent accidentally sharing recordings.
