Importing Bookmarks

Import your Bookmarks

Google Chrome

  1. In the three-dots menu, select Bookmarks > Bookmark manager.

 

  1. On the Bookmarks page, select the menu (three-dot) icon, and choose Import Bookmarks.

 

 

  1. Navigate to the HTML file on your W: drive and select Open. Chrome imports the contents of the file.

 

 

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the menu button Menu button Menu button 1 to open the menu panel. Click Bookmarks and then click the Manage bookmarks bar at the bottom.

Import from Library

  1. The Bookmarks Library window will open. From the toolbar in the Library window, click import-export-arrows Import and Backup and choose Import Bookmarks from HTML…

  1. Within the Import Bookmarks File window that opens, navigate to the bookmarks HTML file you are importing and select the file. Click open

 

 

 

MS Edge

  1. Enter the following into the address bar “edge://favorites/”. Select the ellipses (3 dots) on the right-top > Import Favorites. See attached image for example.

  1. Select “Choos what to import” under the Import from other browsers section. Next choose the “Favorites or bookmarks HTML file”

  1. Click “Choose file”

  1. Navigate to your W: drive which should be the desktop location you exported your favorites from Windows 10. And click Open.
