Overview
The HawkGuest Network is provided for the convenience of visitors and guests. This network offers basic web browsing and is limited to specific services which are publicly available.
Restrictions
- HawkGuest is outside of the campus network. It does not provide any access to university services which require a campus connection.
- Guest users will be required to authenticate by providing their email or phone number after 24 hours of continuous use.
- Rate limited to 10mb download and 10mb upload.
Connecting to SJU HawkGuest in Lancaster
- Connect to the HawkGuest wireless network
- Click the Register button at the bottom (Disregard the login prompt even if you have SJU credentials)
- Choose where to send the verification code to (Phone or email - Phone is preferred due coverage issues. It may make receiving the email quite difficult)
- Enter your phone number or email. Click Register once more.
- Enter the verification code. Click Verify.
6. You should be shown the word Success on the top left of your screen, at that point you can close the window/tab.
