You can copy a Canvas course into your Canvas course by following the instructions below. Please note, if you plan to use content from another instructors Canvas course, please make sure that you have been enrolled in the course and given the role of Teacher by the other instructor. If the course you are looking to import is located in the Canvas Commons, please use these instructions.

In Course Navigation, of your destination course, click the Settings link.

Click the Import Course Content link, on the right.

In the Content Type drop-down menu, select the Copy a Canvas Course option.

In the Search for a Course field, enter the course you would like to access.

To import all content from the course, select the All Content radio button. If you want to select specific content, click the Select specific content radio button. Note: If you select the specific content option, you are required to select the content you want to import after you review the remaining page options. After you start importing the content, the import selection cannot be canceled.

Click the Import button.
Once you have started an import, the Current Jobs menu displays the job status of any imports in process, as well as any prior import history.
