How do I place an order on the Technology Purchasing site in The Nest?

  1. In order to place a technology order you will need to log into The Nest (, go to School Services, and click Technology Purchasing within the Office of Information Technology Portlet on that page.
  2. Once you are in the Technology Purchasing site, you can browse within the categories and add items to your cart either by clicking “Buy” beneath them or “Add to Shopping Cart” from the product detail page.
  3. After you’ve added all the items you need to your shopping cart, click “Proceed to Checkout
  4. On the following screen, you have the option to enter any special instructions.  Click “Submit Your Order”.  You will then get a confirmation that your order has been placed and sent to the budget approver in your department for final submission.
