What is it?
Zoom Phone is SJU's softphone solution, allowing you to make and receive phone calls over the internet using mobile devices and laptops. Softphones eliminate the need for physical hardware, support mobility and hybrid work by enabling calls from computers or mobile devices, integrate seamlessly with collaboration tools, and provide advanced features such as voicemail-to-email, call forwarding, and presence indicators. Softphones are highly scalable and simplify solution management making them a cost-effective and future-ready communications solution.
Who can use it?
All employees of the university will be transitioning to Zoom Phone. The project timeline can be found here.
Where can I access this service?
At this time, pilot users are receiving communication and should know who they are. These users are receiving communication via email and will be asked to attend Zoom Phone training.
