- Head to https://account.microsoft.com/
- You'll be presented with the following:

- Enter your username, followed by your password:

- If you do not have MFA set up, you'll be logged into your Microsoft account portal. Here's an example:

- Next, click on "Security Info". You'll see this on the next page, where you'll want to click "Add sign-in method":

- Next, you'll see this screen. We recommend setting up "Microsoft Authenticator":

You can set up a Passkey or hardware token, which are also much more secure than using Phone or Email.
- If you select Microsoft Authenticator, you'll be shown the following screen which instructs you to install the App on your mobile device:

- Next, once you've installed the App, you'll need to open it and begin the set up process:

- After click "Next" (shown above), you'll be given a unique QR code that you'll need to scan with your App on your phone. Here's an example (do not scan this):

- If for some reason you previously enrolled in MFA, but maybe it was an insecure way such as using Phone or Email as an option, you may see this screen:

This is just letting you know that you should set up a strong form of MFA, such as the Microsoft Authenticator
