Online Course Distribution Plan
Once a course development space is approved, the course content needs to be copied into the live section(s). It’s important that the Course Developer and the Academic Stakeholder are clear on how this process will be completed. The two options are:

Basic course copy - the Course Developer copies the approved online course development content into the live section(s). From that point on, either the instructor of the live section or the Program Director/Chair imports content from a previously run course.

Canvas Commons - the Course Developer copies the approved online course development content into their Canvas Commons group. (A specific commons group is created for the academic program, and the Program Director/Chair manages who has access to that group.) From that point on, the instructor of the live section imports the course from the Canvas Commons Group.
