How to use SJU MobilePrint with your SJU email account

  1. Using your SJU email account, send an email to mobileprint@sju.edu and attach the document you would like to print.  Click send.
  1. Within about a minute, you will get a reply email with a link to the Print Center web site.  Here's an example below:


     
  2. From the Print Center site, select the document that you want to print.  Here's an example below of what the Print Center looks like with a pending print job:


     
  3. You have the ability to select certain print options such as color, black & white, double-sided, etc. 
  4. Select a destination printer where your document(s) will be printed out (preferably one that is near you).
  5. Click Print.
  6. Now proceed to the printer to collect your print job. (No swipe needed!)

 

Using the Print Center website independent of email

If you are unable to email to mobileprint@sju.edu, you can log in to the Print Center website using your SJU username and password at this website:

mobileprint.sju.edu 

You'll be presented with a log in prompt like the one shown below:

  • Once logged in, you can upload the document(s) you'd like to print.
     
  • Once uploaded, check the box next to the document(s) you wish to print.  Here's another example showing 3 pending print jobs that are waiting to be printed:

  • Apply any attributes that you want such as color or duplex. (As always, color prints cost .35 per page)
     
  • From the drop-down list called "Select a Printer", choose the lab printer you wish to print to.  Make your way to the printer that you'd like your documents to be printed from.
  • Click "Print".
  • If you aren't already at the printer, proceed to the printer immediately to collect your documents. (you do not need to swipe your card
     

***Note*** You will be charged once you click "Print", and the documents will begin printing immediately.


Here is the list of available lab printers students can print from:

  1. DMZ-P1 and DMZ-P2 are located on the 2nd floor of the Post Learning Commons (Post Academic Center).
  2. Merion-P1 and Merion P2  are located in Merion Hall, Room 151c (near the Writing Center hallway).
  3. Campion-P1 is located in the Campion 3rd floor computer lab.
  4. Perch-BW is located in the Perch immediately to your right once entering the main entrance.
  5. PLC-BW1, PLC-BW2 and PLC-BW3 are the black and white printers located in the PLC first floor computer lab.
  6. PLC-Color1 is the color printer located in the PLC first floor computer lab.
  7. Drexel-BW is located on the first floor of the Drexel Library wing of the Post Academic Center.
  8. Drexel-Color1 is the color printer located on the first floor of the Drexel Library wing of the Post Academic Center.

Please note, on the Print Center website, under Print options, you will see the document displayed in color or black and white.  Black and white jobs sent to a color printer will still charge .35 so be sure to un-check color and select a black and white printer to avoid the .35 charge.  Print jobs that you send through MobilePrint, Print Center, or from a computer will be queued for 2 hours.  After this, they will be removed from your queue and account, and you will not be charged.
