What is Google Gemini in Workspace Apps?
Google Gemini for Workspace Apps is a new AI feature enabled within our Google Workspace environment. It allows the utilization of Gemini (Google's AI feature) to integrate with some of our Google Workspace applications, including Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Google Vids.
Important: These features are currently only enabled for Staff and Faculty.
How do I access these features?
In order to access these new features, you must enable Smart Features in Google Workspace. This article has additional details on how to enable Smart Features across different device types.
Will my data be kept secure and private?
Yes, any usage of these new features remains fully protected and secured within our Google Workspace environment. No usage will be used to train AI models or will be shared outside of our organization.
