With the December 21, 2020 update, Zoom's non-verbal reactions have been moved to the "Reactions" icon in the toolbar.
If you have used the reactions located in the participant's panel for informal polling, there has been a functional change to how these reactions work. Previously the reactions would remain on screen until the instructor or host cleared them. Reactions will now disappear after 10 seconds. If you wish to continue to use reactions for informal polls, the raised hand icon will still have the same functionality, along with displaying a running tally of raised hands in the participant's panel.
