What is Google Lens?
Google Lens is an AI-powered tool integrated within the Chrome browser. Its features include providing students with step-by-step explanations, videos, and web results for math, science, and history problems.
Please note that students may have access to these features on their personal computers.
How can I deter students from using this feature?
To prevent the use of Google Lens during online quizzes or exams in Canvas, we recommend utilizing the Respondus Lockdown browser for all quizzes/exams. Respondus will restrict access to features, including the Homework Help button through Google Lens. Below are some resources for using Respondus
