Software Purchasing

What is it?

IT obtains software licenses through educational and volume discounts by facilitating campus-wide agreements with University software vendors such as Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, and others and makes the software available for use on University-owned computers.  Faculty, staff and students can visit for discounts on software for personal use.

If you are looking to purchase or license software for instructional use within Canvas, submit a request for a Canvas Third Party Application.

Who can use it?

All SJU faculty and staff can access The Technology Purchasing site with their SJU credentials.  

Where can I access this service?

In order to purchase software, please visit the Technology Purchasing site located within The Nest.

Once logged into the Nest, click on the School Services tab and look for the Office of Information technology portlet and click on Technology Purchasing:
